About Next Generation Men and Women: Next Generation Men & Women is an Atlanta-based non-profit organization created in 2014 by former teachers in order to bring college and career readiness to life for underserved high school students.  Working with a teacher and a local college fellow, students form cohorts of 15-20 and meet twice a week beginning in 9th grade and continuing on until they graduate four years later.  Interspersed with weekly knowledge and skill development are monthly trips to different companies and colleges in order to be better aware of and prepared for life's opportunities.  NGM/W is also known for their signature Networking Nights and the Next Gen Games competition that was recently featured on WSB-TV.  Now serving 150 students and with over 30 partners across the city, NGM/W is quickly changing how people think about the educational experience and in what ways we can all be a support for students most in need.
