Senior Management Team

We have been successful in hiring a highly skilled and experienced management team, with an average of over 15 years of experience in technical and business consulting, software development, vertical market expertise and business management. In addition, the CEO of the company is a proven entrepreneur with success in two prior start-up companies in the software development space.

Kannan Ayyar, CEO and Chairman

Kannan is an experienced Silicon Valley entrepreneur, executive and investor. Prior to founding Karna, he was CEO and President of Vayu Communications, a cutting edge provider of Internet performance enhancement systems. He was cofounder and President of Interweave Software, a leading supplier in Internet based decision support software tools for large corporations which was sold to Cognos Corporation ( www.cognos.com). Before Co-founding Interweave Software, he was Cofounder and Executive Vice President of Renaissance Software, a pioneer in high-end trading applications for multinational banks which was sold to Sungard Data Systems ( www.sungard.com). Kannan is on the board of CIGNEX Technologies, Inc. ( www.cignex.com) and Intelligent Markets ( www.imarkets.com). He is an active investor in technology companies. Kannan began his career at Salomon Brothers where he has the distinction of being one of their youngest vice-presidents. Kannan has a BS in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.

Jean-Marc Parmentier, CTO

Jean-Marc brings more than 15 years of experience in software product architecture, engineering, marketing, and sales to Karna. He was CTO of Brixlogic, a company that provides visual XML tools for financial institutions. He was senior manager and architect of "Quicken Online" at Intuit Services Europe. Jean-Marc has also been CEO of a subsidiary of France Telecom (Diagram Inc,) in Mountain View specialized in the development of front and back office tools for banks trading rooms.

He holds a Master in Computer Science degree from Control Data Institute in Paris.

Srinath Srinivasan, Vice President, Solutions

Srinath Srinivasan has over 15 years of experience in solutions consulting and large-scale software program delivery. At Karna, Srinath heads up the solutions and delivery of our Enterprise Content Management practice. Prior to joining Karna, Srinath was a senior program manager at Tavant where he successfully leveraged the global delivery model to deliver software solutions in the loan servicing and loan origination space. In addition, he was part of the PMO at client organizations responsible for establishing and ensuring adoption of best practices in program management. Prior to that, he was the region head for the technology consulting practice at Infosys Technologies where he was directly responsible for defining service offerings, building a team of technology architects and ensuring consistent revenue growth. Before Infosys, Srinath was part of the CTO office at Logical Design Solutions where he was responsible for technology thought leadership, architecture consulting and engagement management. Srinath holds a BS in computer science & engineering.

Vincent Mui, Senior Director, Global Delivery

Vincent has over 15 years of multinational consulting and software development experience. At Karna he heads up Global Service Delivery. His successful Karna engagements include Hewlett Packard, Chevron, QUALCOMM, Amgen and the Mexico Tax Authority. Vincent began his IT career at Department of Information Technology, State of Wisconsin in 1991. Prior to Karna, Vincent worked with mission-critical enterprise applications in Chase Manhattan Bank and HSBC bank’s Global Software Development Center.

Vincent is an active member of the Project Management Institute, as well as a member of the Who’s Who Historical Society. He holds an MBA degree in IT Management from University of British Columbia in Canada, and a BBA degree in MIS and Accounting from University of Wisconsin-Madison in USA.

Ranjani Mohana, Director

As Director of Karna Global Technologies Ranjani Mohana maintains relationships with clients and vendors externally and handles operations and HR internally.

As Marketing Manager with the Storage Product Group at Texas Instruments, Ranjani was involved in intensive client research and targeting sales opportunities. Later, on a special assignment, focused on a key project of hiring targeted professionals from the US to relocate and work in Bangalore, India with a “No Place like Home” campaign.

As a co-founder of Compu Tech Consultants, she administered the role of Director of Marketing & Operations managing the training center as a premium partner of Cisco and Microsoft. She managed the branch operations to successful growth and obtained State and Federal Government accreditations for the company.

She holds three master’s degrees from the Texas Universities, in Journalism (UNT), MBA (SMU) and Information Systems (UTD). In addition to her career achievements, Ranjani volunteers in several community projects and was particularly involved as board president for Riding Unlimited, a nonprofit organization providing horse riding lessons for disabled kids. She is also a pastel artist and has held shows in Texas.
